Basic Equipment for Chickens
Our newest blog post is all about chickens. We go into some details about the basic equipment for chickens to get started with these fine feathered friends. Chickens bless our homestead in many ways, including entertainment and food. It is kind of like dinner and a movie, only different.

A farmer came to talk with me after the service at the church I was preaching at last Sunday. I always like talking with farmers, not least because they always bring me up short. Here I’m forced to bring my theoretical thoughts and musings into contact with the realities as experienced by those who are actually at the front-end of growing and rearing our food and dealing with the supermarkets.

I am just wanting to contact everybody to let them know that the content for this site has been moved. If you have liked what we have done in the past, please click on over to heritagebreedsfarm.com. We have added over 50 posts since that website became public. We elected to move the site to a wordpress.org self-hosted site in order to have better customization of the website. It also gives us something else to tinker with. As we get more and more into it, I may begin to delete the contents of each post here and simply replace it with a link to the new post on the newer website.
Sorry for the confusion, but we felt this the best way to move forward with our project. Please click on over to the new website and please follow us there. I am not sure on the particulars of the process, but I believe that you will need to submit your email on the right hand side of the page.
We are also on facebook as heritage breeds farm. You can also follow us on facebook!
Thanks for following us!
